Newcastle Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG) comprises two high-achieving colleges: Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stafford. As one of the largest educational providers in Staffordshire. 

We’ve worked with NSCG for several years, covering key photography events including A-Level Results Day, Awards Evenings, and content for marketing materials. This long-standing relationship means we understand the photographic style and standards required.

For the 2024–25 prospectus, the creative brief was to capture the essence of “what it’s like to be a student at NSCG” in a fun, natural way, while showcasing the diverse range of subjects on offer. During the three-day shoot, we worked across multiple campus locations with a mix of pre-selected students and others engaged on the day.

To ensure the images felt genuine and engaging, we used a multi off-camera flash setup—ideal for lighting both subjects and rooms effectively while remaining agile and efficient throughout the shoot.

In today’s digital-first world, photography is often experienced online, so seeing our work brought to life in print and aligned with NSCG’s strong visual brand identity remains especially rewarding.
