The Alpha Academies Trust

After working extensively with schools and academies across Staffordshire, we were recommended to The Alpha Academies Trust to provide strategic communications direction, a comprehensive PR proposal, and hands-on support for the internal team during implementation.

The Trust oversees a network of four primary and two secondary academies across North Staffordshire. With our deep experience in the education sector, we developed engaging social and marketing content aimed at:

– Supporting staff retention
– Driving pupil admissions
– Generating and sharing positive news stories

Our approach relied on a strategic, multimedia method of content generation and dissemination.

Additionally, our education consultant provided valuable insights as part of an initial review—highlighting key areas for improvement and development to enhance the Trust’s communications and engagement strategies.

Project Scope

Video Production
We scripted, filmed, and produced tailored promotional videos for Discovery Academy and Excel Academy, the Trust’s two secondary schools. Each project was developed in close collaboration with school leaders and delivered in multiple formats suitable for internal events, websites, and social media channels.

Photography
Our team conducted professional photography sessions across all six schools within the Trust. This helped establish a consistent and high-quality visual identity for use in both digital and printed communications.

Education Consultancy
Working directly with the Trust’s leadership, our education consultant reviewed and updated essential policy documents. We also led the complete rewrite of the Alpha Academies Trust prospectus, ensuring a unified tone, clear messaging, and strategic coherence throughout.

Design
Our creative team took full control of the visual redesign of key document including recruitment and Purpose and Aims. These refreshed publications combined our newly captured imagery with modern layouts and branding to deliver polished, engaging, and professional materials.
