Working in close collaboration with the Creative Education Trust (CET), we were commissioned to create inspirational and engaging video content to support a national advertising campaign highlighting key senior leadership roles at Ash Green School.
Located in Coventry, Ash Green School boasts extensive grounds and a vibrant extracurricular programme. A7 took the lead on planning the video project, working alongside the CET recruitment team to develop bespoke interview questions designed to ensure key messaging was clearly conveyed in the responses.
Using a structured set of questions, we captured authentic and compelling answers that reflected the school’s culture, values, and vision.
Filming Process
The initial filming day focused on capturing a wide range of interviews with pupils, staff, and members of the Senior Leadership Team across various school locations. We also filmed individual hero shots to be paired with voiceover segments, adding depth and visual engagement to the final edit.
Following day one, our team reviewed and clipped the strongest interview responses to create a preliminary audio timeline. This was then presented to both the Trust and the school for feedback and approval.
The following week, we returned to Ash Green to capture supporting B-roll content. This additional footage was carefully shot to align with the narrative and to highlight the school’s unique atmosphere, excellent facilities, and the dynamic spirit of its students and staff. The B-roll played a key role in creating an aspirational and vivid portrayal of life at Ash Green School.
Campaign Outcome
The final video campaign was successfully launched across social media channels and national education recruitment platforms. Following its positive reception, we were invited back to the school to carry out a two-day photography project for the upcoming academic year’s prospectus.
